Chef Bunny

Chef Bunny is a native New Orleanian and well-known girl about town/foodie. Born and raised in the city, she obtained her cooking skills the traditional way….generationally. She was taught authentic Creole/Cajun cooking from her grandmothers and aunts, lifelong Creole cooks. 

She began as an understudy in the kitchen where she learned the basics about cooking which she shaped into a career as a Chef.

Although she had the knowledge and skills, it would be years later that she would put them to use. She worked as an Accountant for 25 stellar years before finally stepping out on faith in 2022 and creating "Crawbabies LLC" a New Orleans  restaurant and catering company.

Since becoming a restaurateur, she has competed in the Carla Hall Presents Favorite Chef competition,  placing #2 in her group. Chef Bunny is the host of radio show/podcast "The Roux with Chef Bunny" airing on WBOK 1230AM on Thursdays.  She has created a buzz around the city by doing food "popups" at local venues before merging with Vaucresson Sausage Co and taking over their kitchen and opening "Crawbabies" inside the cafe. 

Chef Bunny has been featured on news segments, radio shows and print interviews. She is established as one of NOLA's premier go-to foodies whom people seek for all things related to culinary matters.

Just like a roux, she is the heart and soul of this wonderful gumbo called New Orleans.
